Which would require a greater force, accelerating a 3kg
mass at 5 m/s2 or a 5 kg at 4 m/s2 ?

we know F=ma where m= mass and a= acceleration

F1=m1 a1

= 3* 5=15 N

F2= m2 a2

= 5*4 = 20 N

hence second case requires a greater force
