which would require a greater force acceleration a 12 body at 3 ms-2 or a 4 kG body at 8 ms-2​

Answer:

mass of first body (M1) = 12kg

acceleration of 1st body (A1) = 3m/s^2

mass of 2nd body (M2) = 4kg

acceleration of 2nd body (A2) = 8m/s^2

therefore ,

force acting on 1st body = mass × acceleration

M1 × A1

= 12×3= 36 N

force acting on 2nd body = mass × acceleration

= M2× A2

= 4× 8= 32N

clearly , F1>F2 so , body 1st will require a greater force !!
