Given :-

Mass of 1st body =6kg

Acceleration on 1st body = 3m/s^2

Mass of 2nd body = 8kg

Acceleration on 2nd body = 2m/s^2

To find :-

The greater force applied on which body

According to Newton 2nd law of motion

Force = mass × Acceleration

Force 1= m1×a1

Force 1= 6×3

★Force applied on first body = 18 N

◆ Now 2nd body

F = ma

force 2= m2× a2

force 2 = 8×2

★ Force applied on 2nd body = 16N

The greater force applied on the first body by 2 N !

Answer:

First object by 2 newtons

Explanation:

Given:

  • Mass of the first object = 6 kg
  • Acceleration of the first object = 3 m/s²
  • Mass of the second object = 8 kg
  • Acceleration of the second object = 2 m/s²

To find:

  • Which object would require greater force

Force = Mass×Acceleration

Force on first object = 6×3

=18 Newtons

The force required to accelerate a 6 kg object at 3 m/s²

Force on second object = Mass×Acceleratrion

Force on second object = 8×2

= 16 n

First object requires more force than the second object by 2 newtons
