Force is given to be F=ma In the first case, force required is 2*5=10 Newtons. Second case, force required is 4*2=8 Newtons. Hence accelerating a 2kg block at 5 m/s²requires more force.

force is mass x accelaration. force requd foraccelarating2kgat 5m/^2=10N     FORCE REQD FOR ACCELARATING 4KG at2m/s=4 x2 =8N So the first body requiregreater force
