Answer

The order of rate of SN_2 reaction is given by :

CH_3-X > Primary halide > Secondary halide > Tertiary Halide

(Here X is any haligen)

CH_3-CH_2-I is a primary halide.

According to the order, CH_3-X reacts faster than primary halide.

Hence, we can say that CH_3-I will react faster than CH_3-CH_2-I
