effort........ because even if we have knowledge we may not use it or implement in our actions and if we wont put our knowledge in our daily life we may lose our knowledge also.... Moreover by effort also we can gain extra knowledge..... so i prefer it

Knowledge...... Because only with effort we can do anything. But with knowledge we can complete the work by smart work.. But if you chose effort we have ti complete the work by working hard so I perfer knowledge
