Which writ is issued to quash the order of a court or tribunal?

The writ used is certiorari. Be sure sure not to get certiorari and prohibition mixed up. They kinda have the same meaning but prohibition is used before the judgement is made and certiorari after the judgement i.e to quash the judgement. Just think of Prohibition as Prevention(before) and Certiorari as Cure(after).
