Hii dear here is your answer

Sodium bicarbonate, regular or ordinary used on class B and C fires, was the first of the dry chemical agents developed. In the heat of a fire, it releases a cloud of carbon dioxidethat smothers the fire. That is, the gas drives oxygen away from the fire, thus stopping the chemical reaction..

While fire extinguisher powder is non-toxic, it is not entirely safe. ... →Inhalation is one of the biggest dangers with fire extinguisherpowder. It is very irritating to mucous membranes and may cause difficulties with breathing if inhaled in large enough quantities.

omprakashsharma78: but how is it harmful

NaHCO3 is used in fire extinguishers which releases CO2 and make us safe from fire.
It is good but harmful as well because :-
→The chemicals can irritate skin, so use gloves and avoid inhaling by using a dust mask, if there is a need to clean the place where fire take place.

→Despite being non-toxic, you shouldn’t try to eat the powder that comes from a fire extinguisher. If you do eat some of the powder, it could cause your throat to become sore and red and may even cause some stomach upset.

→Inhalation is one of the biggest dangers with fire extinguisher powder. It is very irritating to mucous membranes and may cause difficulties with breathing if inhaled in large enough quantities.

Hope this will help you.
