While climbing a staircase we find it difficult to climb the steps when the distance between two steps is high ,because we have to lift up our body mass under the presence of gravity, and we have to overcome the force of gravity. While climbing up the stairs we have to put force on ground, more then our weight, which put same force but in opposite, direction .

we find it hard while climbing the two steps and the distance is high, then the remedy is we should try to climb the stairs by holding tightly on the poles and we should take little rest and then walk. slowly.

While climbing a staircase we find it difficult to climb the steps when the distance between two steps is high, because -

• When we are climbing a staircase in the upward direction,we are actually carrying our body in the opposite direction of the gravitational force.

• Now,due to the mass of our body,we have to apply a significant amount of force to carry our body mass against the gravitational force.

• This excessive amount of force application for overcoming the gravitational force, makes the staircase climbing much more difficult.

• And,if the the distance between two steps of the staircase is high, then we have to apply more force while climbing from one step to another because the total distance covered against the gravity will be also increased.

The only remedy for this,is to climb slowly on the staircase.
