Solution:

We know that,

Distance = speed × time

Let speed of Ajit and Amit is x and y respectively.

According to the question,

30/x = 2 + 30/y ____________________(1)

30/2(x) = 30/y - 1 ____________________(2)

On subtracting equation (1) and (2),

=> 30/2(x) = 3

=> x = 5

From (1)

=> 6 = 2 + 30/y

=> y = 30/4 = 7.5

Thus, the speed of Ajit and Amit are 5 km/h and 7.5 km/h respectively.
