due to amount of energy liberated when water is added to acid hence acid should added that too slowly,if acud also is added suddenly it also leads to liberation of energy

⚫This amount of liberation of heat can be very dangerous for us.
⚫Since the amount of heat energy liberated is low when the acid is added to water as compared to that when water is added to acid,
