while driving ashutosh travells 30 km with a uniform speed of 40 km/h and next 30 km with a uniform speed of 20 km/h. find his average speed of the total journey

speed =40km/hr.
distance =30km
next,
distance =30km
and speed =20km/hr
average speed =total speed /total distance travelled .
av speed =40+20/30+30
=60/60
=1km/hr

Case1:
Distance=30km
Speed=40km/h
:.Time=Distance/speed
=30/40
=3/4h
Case2:
Distance=30km
Speed=20km/h
:.Time=distance/speed
=30/20
=3/2h
Now,
Total distance=30+30=60km
Total time=3/4+3/2=3/4+6/4=9/4h
:. Average SPEED=Total distance/total time
=60/9/4
=60×4/9
=240/9
=80/3km/h OR 26.66km/h OR 26.67km/h
