While driving his car at a speed of 50 km/hr, Ramit covers a distance from home
office in 1 hour 30 minutes. One day he was 15 minutes late from his
home. In order to reach office at time, what should be the speed of the car?

Answer:

speed = 50km /hr

time =1hr 30 min

1 \times \frac{1}{2} hr \:  =  \frac{3}{2}

distance = speed x time

50 \times \frac{3}{4}

75km

Romit gets late by 15 minutes so time = 1hr 15 minutes,

1 \times \frac{15}{60}hr \:  =  \frac{5}{4}  hr

speed =distance /time

 \frac{75 \times 4}{5}  \:  \:  \:  = 60km \: per \: hour \\  \\  \\

total distance = 75+75

=150km
