He was unable to understand what he could do to change the living conditions on him and his family. He thought of saving this rain water so when the time comes he can avail the water from the rain. So he built an irrigation system from the bamboo sticks which had interconnected pipe line through all his field and a big under ground tank that can save the extra water of rain. When was done doing that ultimately it rained and he was so happy to see this water going into the tank that he will never have to see the drought again.
