If a child receives a complete, or even an elementary education, then that child can contribute to the economy by meeting the criteria of specialized knowledge & skills that most jobs in the formal sector demand. These jobs pay more, generate more income in the economy, & also contribute more to a country's infrastructural development than jobs in the informal sector do, where child labor takes place.

Essentially, a child that lacks education is a loss to human capital formation of a country because he'll be loss profitable this way.
