While finding the multiplicative inverse of a fractional complex number, one has to just reverse the fraction.. but while finding the m ultiplicative inverse of complex no. which is not fraction, one has to assume the M.I. as x + iy or A +ib and then wwe find the M. I. Why? Why

no not necessarily . to find M I of a complex number in c/d form first multiply the denominator by its conjugate . Then you can find out the M I by inversing it
