that white slurry is nothing but the wall of uterus and plasma with blood ..

as it comes out with blood it appears red

menstruation occurs when unfertilized egg comes out and it breaks the wall of uterine which has prepared itself for fertilisation .... but the egg is unfertilized so fertilisation will not take place

and the excess wall will be broken down along with its blood vessel and moves out the vagina in the form of bleeding called menstrual flow
