While Mr. Ravi making a boundary of his plot his neighbour Dinesh makes an objection saying that Ravi is cheating. Both begin to quarrel. Mr. Jagat, a senior citizen, understands their problem carefully and write the equations of the boundary as x = 6; x = -6; y = 6 and y = -6

The shape of the plot is square.

Slope of AC = 6 -(-6)/6-(-6)

= 12/12

= 1

∴ Slope = y₂- y₁/ x₂-x₁ for (x₁,y₁) and x₂,y₂

AC passing through the origin

So equation of AC is

y - 0 = 1(x - 0)

y = x

For BD, Slope = 6-(-6)/-6-6

= 12/-12 = -1

and it passes through (0,0)

so y - 0 = -1 (x-0)

or y = -x
