While playing football match/ participating in races/ playing basketball match you generally carry a pair of special shoes. Why do you need special shoes while playing? Will it be different if you do not wear those shoes while playing? Why?

we have special shoes for sports as sports shoes are made in such a way that they make ur game easier

like basketball shoes are made to provide higher jump,

running shoes have spikes that give us a better grip

if u wear other shoes while playing then it can give more weight on ur legs, which may start paining after some time.

Football shoes are designed in such a way to reduce friction from ground. They have hooks/studs which reduce the surface area with ground and friction. Since, friction is directly proportional to the surface are, lesser is the surface are, lesser is the friction.

They help in fast running in pitches and low wastage of energy. The reason because since friction to the ground will be less, so lesser force will be applied from body to run which will not waste energy and helps to run fast. It also helps to avoid slipping as the studs gets deep into the ground which prevents falling.

Football boots, are an item of footwear worn when playing football. Those designed for grass pitches have studs on the outsole to aid grip.

Yes, surely it will be different if we don't wear those shoes as the outsoles of normal shoes will increase the surface area with the ground and increase the friction with the ground. This will lead to wastage of energy, slow running, slipping, and tiredness in whole.
