If a child got stung by a wasp.It releases a liquid which is acidic in nature and can burn your skin.Baking soda is the best remedy as It is basic in nature and will neutralise the acid.

Hope it helps :)

Application of the lemon juice is the correct remedy.

Because,

• The sting of a wasp, generally releases a special venom which is chemically alkaline in nature.

• Now,to neutralize the effect of the alkaline of the wasp sting,we have to apply something acidic.

• And,the lemon has citric acid and it is also safe of external skin application.

• That's why, application of lemon is the correct remedy.
