While playing in a park, a child was stung by a wasp. Some elders suggested applying paste of baking soda and others lemon juice as remedy. Which remedy do you think is appropriate and why?

When a wasp stings you, it releases formic acid in your body.
So we need to neutralise the acid with a base.
Lemon juice contains citrus acid so it is not a solution.
Baking soda is a base and can neutralise the effect of the acid

BAKING SODA IS MOST APPROPRIATE BECAUSE IT IS BASIC IN NATURE
