While playing in the park, a child was stung by a wasp. Some elders suggested applying past of
baking soda and other lemon juice as remedy. Which remedy do you think is appropriate and
why?​

So the Answer is...,

The stung of the wasp contain the Acid named as " Formic Acid".

Therefore It is good to apply baking soda. Because it neutralize the acid and help to reduce irritation on The wound.

The nature of baking soda is basic whereas lemon juice is acidic in nature. So applying the paste of baking soda is good remedy as compared to the paste of lemon juice because wasp sting releases methanoic acid into the sting region which causes itchiness. The nature of baking soda is basic.
