While playing near a sugarcane field mohan noticed that the plants are almost similar to one another . At the same time he noticed the mango trees in the next plot of land are not similar to one another. Mohans brother told mohan that sugarcane reproduces asexually hence there is larger variation.

a.Why cant sugarcane reproduce sexually?

b.Can mango reproduce sexually?

c.If a person wants to have a flower garden what type of plants should he keep?

Mango seed (stone) may either has a single embryo, or sometimes polyembryonic. that is why it varies with tree to tree like children based on the seed. Whereas sugarcane does not have this principle (Ex. Wheat or Maize).
c) Tulsi, mint etc are good as they do not attract rodents. Whereas fruits and vegetables require constant care
