While playing Rita got injured and there was bleeding from her knee. But after sometime bleeding got stopped and there was a formation of red coloured clot at the point of injury. Can you tell who helped in clotting

This happens because after sometimes the blood freezes there ......... I think the external injury helped in clotting.....

Blood clots by platelets( Thrombocytes). Blood corpuscles are trapped by a fiber formed by platelets present in blood plasma. The clot formation is due to the platelets occurs only when there's a leakage in vessels ( generally veins because they lies close to the skin ).
