while pregnancy why periods does not occur​

Periods is a phenomenon which occurs in females where the layer of capillaries formed in the ovaries rupture due to no presence of zygote attached to it's surface. So during pregnancy there occurs no periods.

During a period, the uterus sheds the lining that has built up in case of pregnancy. While a woman can experience uterine bleeding during pregnancy, it will not be due to a period.
