while solving questions on telescopes from ray optics, how do we know whether the given telescope is astronomical or terrestrial if not mentioned in the question?

If it's mentioned in the question that the telescope can view distant space objects, and has a greater lens thickness , then it is astronomical... else, it is terrestrial....: )
