while stepping down from a slowly moving bus we are thrown backwards. Why? Or it is advised not to Jump from a slowly moving bus. Why? ​

TO AVOID FALLING, THE PASSENGER MUST RUN IN THE DIRECTION OF THE OT MOTION OF THE BUS AS SOON AS HIS FEET TOUCH THE GROUND.
