While the idenity of the parent cell gets lost during fragmentation it remains intact during budding. Justify this statement with a diagram explaining

In budding one or more outgrowths called buds, are formed on or inside the parental body. Each bud enlarges and develops the parental characters. It then separates to live an independent life. The parent cell continues to grow and divide. Thus the individuality of the parent is maintained.
In binary fission body of the parental organism divides into two daughter cells during favorable conditions. In multiple fission parental organism divides to form many daughter cells to increase the chances of survival during unfavorable conditions. In binary fission and multiple fission karyokinesis (nuclear division) is followed by cytokinesis (cell division), thus nothing is left with the parent (its identity is lost). Daughter cells grow and the same process continues.
