While tracing the path of a ray of light passing through a glass slab,the angle of incidence is generally taken between 30° and 60°. This is because if the angle is less than 30° then it would form a very low angle and proper observations couldn't be easily taken and if it is beyond 60° then the refraction would be too much for observations.

Thus the angle is generally from 30° to 60°.
