While tracing the path of a ray of light through a glass prism it is advised that the distance between two pins you fix for drawing incident and emergent rays should not be too large and too small.why?​

To trace the wavelength, it gets distract and thus it includes light through a glass prism.

This is suitable for considering in science practical by taking place in a ray.

It denotes face of AB and passes through triangular glass prism taken in ABC and angle denotes the incident ray DE and expands to the emergent angle.

It should fixed with the right paper may not be exactly same.
