Good morning to one and all gathered here. I'm Prajjuman from class X. I would like to thank my beloved teachers for giving me this opportunity to take this stage today. On this auspicious occasion, it is my privilege to deliver this speech. The word 'Unity' is strength in disguise. Yes, a society which is united will always remain the mightiest. We have been taught a very simple moral story about unity during our childhood. Let me recall the story now. Once upon a time there lived a flock of cows.
They were united together and shared a strong bond. One day a tiger tried to hunt a cow and feast on it. However, looking at the cows being in a union all the time, the tiger found it impossible to hunt. So it devised a plan and separated the cows and hunted them one by one. A very simple story but effective in proving how unity could be a mighty force. When we are together nothing is impossible! But when we lose unity, we become instantly vulnerable. One cannot live a life being alone as it will decrease our potential.
Our growth will cease when we are not united with one another. History has proven that kingdoms when they were united remained invincible. Once they shattered, their kingdom went to ground. Even in today's world all the countries are trying to be united without any disputes. However, still there are many reasons for why Nations separate and quarrel. World can be at peace only when unity prevails in every nook and corner.
