B'coz in presence of sunlight silver chloride decomposes in silver and chlorine gas is evolved. Silver chloride is white coloured while silver is grey in colour. The balanced chemical equation for above reaction is:
2AgCl----->2Ag+Cl2
2AgCl----->2Ag+Cl2

photoelectric decomposition of silver breaks it into its constituents i.e. silver and bromine
so ony silver remains which is grey in colour AgBr =Ag +Br
so ony silver remains which is grey in colour AgBr =Ag +Br
