Nitrogen is used for making ammonia ,which is used for making fertilizers,explosives and etc. Oxygen is a life supporting gas which is used by every living organism for breathing. Astronauts used oxygen cylinder in space for breathing. Carbon di-oxide is used by plants for photosynthesis.
