THEREFORE,

AR of WALL: l*b = 15*10 = 150 m^2

AR of Door: l*b= 4*2 = 8 m^2

AR of 2 Windows : l*b = 3*2*2 = 12 m^2

therefore total area to paint = 150-(12+8) = 130

Therefore the cost of painting = 130*12 = Rs.1560

area of door = 8m²

area of 1 window = 6m²

area of 2 windows = 6m² * 2

= 12m²

total area of a door and the 2 windows = 8m² + 12m²

= 20 m²

area for whitewashing = 150 m² - 20 m²

= 130m²

cost of whitewashing = ₹ 12

Total cost of whitewashing = ₹12 * 130

= ₹1560
