Ibn Batuta was a Moroccan muslim traveller who visited India after the Turkish invasions.   Ibn Batuta said that Delhi is one of the greatest cities in the world.   Ibn Batuta wrote in his travelogues that Delhi was a crowded city with massive population.   Delhi has all the great facilities like grain market, fruit orchard and one of the finest cemeteries in the world.
