the weight of the paper remains the same per fold although the paper's overall area keeps on decreasing making its surface have less air retention capacity and therefore each time the paper is folded it keeps on going faster towards the ground, yes the paper at some point may reach before the wooden piece depending upon how many folds it has, greater the folds faster the paper falls, we conclude that speed of paper is directly proportional to the folds of paper.
