Social groups who are discriminated against such as people belonging to Scheduled Caste[SC] , Scheduled Tribe people and also people belonging to OBC are amongst the poorest of the poor.
People who are the the suffers of natural disasters or calamities also come under the catogory of the poorest ofthe poor.
The worst affected group are landless people with little or no land to depend upon,traditional artisants,providers of traditional services,petty self employed workers and destitudes including beggar.In urban area members generally employed in ill-paid jobs and those who are self employed in non-profitable businesses.
