1. Among the uncountable people who suffer from the insecurity of food, the most affected ones are those who are devoid of any land to depend on, beggars, farmers who have experienced famine etc. In the cities, the daily waged laborers, rickshaw pullers etc also suffer from food insecurity

2. The people belonging to the lower strata of the society like SC, ST, some members of OBC and tribal people are more prone to this food insecurity. Also, people who have experienced a violent natural disaster are likely to go through this food insecurity.  

3. The food insecure people are scattered in different parts of the country especially in places where there is an availability of food like temples, trusts etc.
