Moderates were a part of INC(Indian National Congress)They were not very violent people and the main objective of theirs was to get a part in British administration.some of them were Aurobindo Ghosh, Surendranath mukherjee.their opposite were radicals who in turn took violent ways to get freedom like they wanted the administration to be fully carried by Indians as it was their country. They were the one who started movements like boycott swadeshi etc.some of them were Lala Lajpath Rai,Bal Gangadharetc. The moderates were not interested in movements like boycott as they thought fragiling British economy would indirectly affect them . The only movement they took up was Swaraj
