Red indians are the native people of America

shailendrpandey: The term “Red Indians” is an old, British only no longer used and considered insulting term for Native Americans or American Indians or the indigenous people of North America in the area that is now the US. In Canada they are called First Nations. In Mexico Indigenous People.

The name is just a mistake (and hope of )from the early Spanish explorers.
