The British land revenue system was implemented for extracting best profit for the British Empire.
Although there were more than one level of tax collectors and land owners, the ultimate tax collector was the British company.
For obvious reason the most benefited party out of the revenue system was the British Government itself.
For the optimum tax collection benefits different tax laws were implemented.
