He corrected the known atomic masses of some elements and he used the patterns in his table to predict the properties of the elements he thought must exist but had yet to be discovered.

Moseley arranged the elements in the periodic table by their number of protons rather than their atomic weights, the flaws in the periodic table that had been making scientists uncomfortable for decades simply disappeared.

The difference between Mendeleev and Moseley periodic table is that Mendeleev periodic table is created based on the atomic masses of chemical elements whereas Moseley periodic table is created based on the atomic numbers of chemical elements.
