Ali-Hujwiri popularly known Data Ganj Bakhsh was the first Sufi saint who brought Sufism to India. He was born in Ghazni, Afghanistan and was disciple of Muhammad al-Hasan al Khuttali of Baghdad.

He was the first to speak in India about "fana" i.e Annihilation or the complete merger of one-self with the Almighty. His book 'Revelation' tell us about Sufi doctrines, alms, prayer, faith and mysticism etc. His Tomb is in Lahore, Pakistan.
