Question:-
Who came to rescue the words bit areas of floods?
Answer:-
An Appeal for Flood Victims
We, the members of the organizing committee of the Greenfield Housing Society hereby appeal to all the members residing in the society to come forward and lend help to the Uttarakhand flood victims.
These devastating floods were India's most horrible natural disaster after the Tsunami in the year 2004 leaving innumerable families affected. It is our duty as the citizens of the country to help our brothers and sisters in need.
Each one of us may think what we can do in such a terrible situation and it is the duty of the Government to rescue the people. However, we at the Greenfield Housing Society will not think this way. That is why our motto and slogan for this noble cause is :
"Each one save one"
If each one of us takes the responsibility of saving at least one victim, we together will be able to save a large number of victims. If all the citizens of the country think like us, we would be able to help all the victims.
Unanimously the organizing committee of the society has decided that we would contribute to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund. We would use a part of the reserve fund of the society and we appeal all the members to come forward and contribute towards this noble cause.
These floods have damaged properties, houses and have left thousands of people homeless. Two of the holy Chardhaam shrines of Kedarnath and Badrinath have also been destroyed. The state has witnessed a lot of destruction because of these floods. The roads are also damaged and there would be a need for lots of funds to reconstruct the affected areas.
Your help is needed to get life back to normal in this state.
Kindly come forward and do your bit.
