Answer: secθ=5/4 and tanθ= -3/4

Step-by-step explanation:

Given secθ + tanθ = 1/2 ------(1)

We know that sec²θ-tan²θ=1

⇒(secθ+tanθ)(secθ-tanθ)=1

⇒1/2(secθ-tanθ)=1

⇒secθ-tanθ=2------(2)

(1)+(2)--->

2secθ=2+1/2=5/2

So secθ=5/4

(1)-(2)--->

2tanθ= -3/2

tanθ= -3/4
