Today's present world is still occupied by both rich and poor. People's views and beliefs have change a lot. In our country, parents persuade their children to take up medicine or engineering.
In my opinion, any person who has taken a masters degree in commerce and humanities or successfully completed a degree in Medicine or Engineering is termed as 'Educated'. It is inevitable because we can see that in schools, a student has to choose between 'Bio - math' or 'Computer - math' as their streams when they turn 16.
This indicates that more importance is given in these fields. The remaining streams such as Commerce and Humanities have lesser importance compared to Science.

In my own opinion an educated person is a person who has humanitarian feelings towards one another, a person who cares,listens,respect,and also help people who are in need of it.
The reason as to why i'm saying this is because even if you are the most educated person in the whole wide world in terms of book,jobs etc.if you don't have the sense of humour it will be difficult for you to cope with the people around you.
