 \bold{cytoplasm}

This term was coined by Rudolf von kolliker in 1863.It includes cell substance and organelles presnt outside the nucleus.

It is not similar as Nucleoplasm because in nucleoplasm nucleus is included but it is not included in the case of cytoplasm.

It is a jelly like substances which consist of many organelles such as Endoplasmic reticulumn:; Mitochondria; Ribosomes etc

It is made up of water and salt and is responsible for giving shape to the cell.
