a barber who belonged to a family of musicians and had an access to the king's court decided to improve the quality of pungi. For this he took a natural hollow pipe and made seven holes in it. When he played blowed air through it opening and closing some hole pleasant sound came through it. Later he played it in the royal court in front of King and every one got impressed. Thus he succeeded in his endeavour.
