The Board decides what history is taught .

For eg : ICSE board speaks about and introduces world wars which is not in cbse maybe the state boards teach about traditional culture.

Winners create history, but who decides what part of history should be taught in schools.

Actually, there are many people involved in the process of creating a history syllabus for schools.

Historians write history, school boards decide education of what parts of history is essential for the syllabus, politicians decide which parts of the history should be taught to fulfil their agenda, the nation and its culture influences what parts of history are accessible, etc.
