The Directive principles of State policy Is abbreviated as the Dpsp. These principles are given utmost importance in our constitution because it guides the law makers to make laws for the country which do not hinder personal interests of the people of the country.  It is actively stated in our constitution that the Dpsp form the most fundamental rule sets in the governance of the nation and the laws shall always be made in such a manner that they do go by the Dpsp and never clash with the Dpsp. Dr. BR Ambedkar once said that the dpsp are the novel features in the constitution.
